What's the consensus on what quarter length produces the more realistic stats? I tend to call me plays pretty fast.

I use 9, but I take my time on both offense and defense.

6-7 would probably be best if you call your plays pretty quickly.

Yeah on the 360 I use 9 and can get about 25-32 passes and 20-30 runs. That also accounts for the fact that on almost every play the CPU runs the play closk tounder 10 seconds before the snap.

I'm on current gen and if you turn off the automatic replay 7-minute quarters work just fine. Buster Davis (my IP at LB) is 3rd in the ACC in tackling. I mention this because tackling is normally a stat the suffers. He's got about 39 tackles through 7 games and the leader has 43...I think!

If you take your time on offense and defense, 9 minutes will get you about 60 plays per game. 10 minutes will get you 70, but I always have high scoring games with 10 minute quarters so I've stuck with 9.

The real ncaa average is 70 plays.

if i play 7 mins i can get a realistic amount of plays in (360) b/c i call plays fast...but i usually just play 6 mins b/c 7 min games seem to take forever..with 6 min quarters i get prob about 15-20 less plays, but i enjoy myself and thats all that matters

I play 4 minute quarters and get about 40-50 plays in unless I'm beating the crap out of a team then I don't get hardly any plays in b/c I score so quickly. I have been scoring between 21-56 points a game on heisman mode with 4 minute quarters. I'm thinking about bumping it up to 5 minute quarters but I don't wanna see 98-84 scores.

8 cuz i sub a lot and i'm not used to the LT method.
