Re: Is Everyone Pretty Happy With This Game?

I'm pretty happy.

I think the current gen version has reached it's ceiling and is maxed out. At this point the last two years I'd given up on '05 and '06.

PS2- great game. I love the momentum meter. My only gripe is the kick return camera....but I'm getting used to it.

I'm having the most fun with this game (360 version) since NCAA 2004, which is a good thing. I didn't play much the past 2 years. The worst thing about this game is the collision detection. It's downright awful - among the worst I've seen. Surprisingly, it's still fresh and fun to play in spite of that.

Re: Is Everyone Pretty Happy With This Game?

I'm very happy with this game. I've liked it more once I've adjusted to some of the things I don't like (kick return camera, no r-stick moves on d-line, the one stiff arm button on L2). I hate jump the snap though and wish it could be turned off. I don't use it so it doesn't really bother me much anymore.

I rented the 360 version, and honestly, I didn't expect much. Despite lots of frustrating things about the game (like formation subs, generic stadiums, and a total lack of atmosphere), however, I'm having a LOT of fun with the on-field action. That's the most important factor, of course, so in the end, I'm actually loving the game, warts and all.

I am having fun with the game as well. The only dilema I forsee happening is with Madden coming out I won't play it as much.
I enjoy the pro game a little more than college, and with that damn 30 trade in card looking me in the face it's going to be hard to resist.
