My most prized recruit thusfar has been the #1 overall WR I picked up during in-season recruiting. He came in with 99 speed and good catch rating. He was *only* rated an 80, but I put him in as my 3rd WR over a couple of guys rated higher. He gets 90 something catches for 1800 yards and 22 TDs(with a couple of return TDs to boot) and finishes as the runner up in the Heisman. The national championship I won that year eased the pain. The following season he has worse numbers as the #1 receiver, 80 catches 1200 & 18 but again finishes as Heisman runner-up, it was a tough 9-4 season(only tough because it was pretty much the same team that won the NC the year before). His junior year started with a huge game, he is currently topping the Heisman list. If I can make it out of my first three games, all against top 5 opponants, he should find a way to finally win the Heisman.
One more, a 5 star athlete who was 6'0" and under 200 pounds ended up as my starting LE his true freshman year. He tears something or another the first half of his first game and is done for the year(national championship year). He comes back the next year and gets 8 or 9 sacks.
I really love this game.....
