Is there any point to the vision cone (360).

Do any of you use the vision cone(360) and if so what benefit do you see?
I know it's supposed to make the passes more accurate but it just doesn't
seem to make much difference when I've tried it.

Thanks

I really like the cone from Madden last year. I really thought it made playing with good vs. not so good QBs feel much different. I've messed with it on NCAA but it doesn't seem to do anthing. Plus the CPU doesn't use it so I think it's kinda unfair to me if I do. If the CPU used it I would too.

Yea I just haven't been able to tell a difference in the pass accuracy with it on or off. I play mostly online so I'd love to use it "if" it worked. Although it
would be hard with all the online blitzing...

I don't think it works either. I also don't see the precision passing either in the 360 version. I definitely see it in the XBox version (no vision cone obviously). There are some instances where the QB will throw low, high or behind, but only on rare occassions. Any tips would be appreciated.

Precision passing is definitely in the 360 version. Remember to direct the pass as you throw or you won't really get a reaction.
I've been able to go up and down, lead guys and intentionally throw behind. I've also thrown the ball 20 feet over my guy's head for a pick and also thrown it out of bounds. I play with ND and Colorado and Quinn is very accurate but my Colorado QBs much less so. I benched the default starter White for Jackson, a more athletic but less accurate thrower and he's inconsistent throwing the ball. He's heaved some 10 yards out of bounds. Maybe you want to lower your accuracy slider some, mine is down around 40 (I got comfortable with my sliders over a week ago and haven't looked at them) on AA.

How do you turn on the vision cone on the 360 version? I thought they took that out of the 360 version like they did some of the other features. I liked it in Madden, so I'd like to give it a shot in NCAA.

I think you have to press the right stick after you snap the ball to turn it on.

I thought clicking the right stick threw the ball away for the 360?
