Re: How far are you guys in your NCAA Dynasties?

I started my 2008 season yesterday, I'm 3-0 so far with Penn State.

I'm thinking about calling it quits though, this game is starting to drive me crazy with all the turnovers. I actually started my 4th game of the '08 season last night, at Ohio State. I quit just before halftime though, right after my 7th turnover of the half (6 min quarters). Five fumbles, all lost, and two INT's. I don't even try to break tackles anymore, I just press up on the R-stick to cover up the ball. But if you play on the road it's useless.

No thanks, EA.

The only positive is that Derrick Williams has stayed til his senior year and is probably the best WR I've ever seen in the NCAA series over the years. He broke every career record during his junior year and now he's back for more.

Anyway, 2K5 will be back getting tons of burn once the NFL starts in a couple weeks.

Re: How far are you guys in your NCAA Dynasties?

I voted 2009 as i'm about to finish up the 3rd year tonite. I moved to the SEC in year 2 from Conference USA. I ended up 2nd in the SEC East in year one. In year 3, i've run the table and am facing Miami in the BCS Nat'l Championship, in Miami. My sophmore QB won the Heisman and I've landed the #4 QB in the nation over my new SEC East Rival, Tennessee. The blue-chipper is from, Tennesee...lol. Tennessee kept me out of the SEC Championship game and a possible National Title in Year 2. I went into the last regular season game 12-0 and welcomed the Vols to Hattiesburg. It was a tough game but I pulled it out 42-35. I defeated LSU in the SEC Champ Game. Can't wait until year 4.

In 2009, there were 4 undefeated teams, Miami, Southern Miss, West Virgina, and Missouri. Mizzou leap-frogged WV late in the season to the #3 ranking I guess because of the Big XII conference over the Big East. You should toughen up that non-conference schedule. When I was in C-USA, i had to schedule a tough NCS to get the respect of the pollsters. I knew I could run the table in C-USA but needed to schedule the big dawgs and hope that I could win.

Re: How far are you guys in your NCAA Dynasties?

I played 1 season with Michigan, to make a title run. I ended up 10-2 and losing in a simmed Sugar Bowl. I just started a long-term dynasty with UVA and am 0-1 in season one, so far.

I've yet to even start a dynasty since the release of the game.

Wow I played a ton of NCAA this summer, I usually played late at night for about 3 hours so your assessment looks pretty correct.

Do you run down the playclock in your games? I try to keep the clock moving as much as possible and my games run about 1 hour on average on 8 min quarters.

I wondered if you tweaked sliders more than you actually play the game.
