Re: multiple undefeated teams at end of season

I have only finished one season completely and Ohio State was the only undefeated team and national champion. I got hosed though as I finished 12-2 with Wake Forest and finished #15. I lost the ACC championship but won my bowl game. Since I started so low, its hard to climb up the rankings.

Lost too much talent at S and OT though and have bounced back to 3-3 after suffering three straight home losses at one point in my second year. I'm #24 in the media and unranked by the coaches currently.

Re: multiple undefeated teams at end of season

I just finished up a season. 5 teams were undefeated at the end of regular season, I was 4th in the BCS. One of them loses their conference title game, I move to #3. I beat a 1 loss team in the Fiesta Bowl, the #4 team wins their bowl game against a 1 loss team and one of the other two, obviously, win the NC. So in the final polls there are three unbeatens, all from big conferences. The NC game winner gets 42 votes in the Media Poll, I get 22 and WVU gets 1(this game hates WVU!).

I think the game handled it well, but I wish I could have played West Virginia in the bowl game.

Re: multiple undefeated teams at end of season

I just finished my third season last night. Three major conference teams were undefeated (Michigan, USC, UNC-the team I was playing). There was a midmajor that was undefeated as well (Northern Illinois?). They bareley were in the top 20.

It would be nice if you could ditch the BCS in this game for a playoff system. That would make the game a little more interesting.

It's not unrealistic for an undefeated Big East team to get screwed by a 1 loss team from a major conference... In fact I'd feel screwed if I had 1 loss and got snubbed by a 12-0 WVU.

Too many top teams play a soft schedule in the game (B- or even C). The fix is at the start of each season before the schedule is set go add 11 coaches and assign them to the top teams. Then edit their schedules to play other top 25 teams until they have at least an A- schedule. Once the season starts you can then delete these extra coaches. It sounds like a lot of work but only tales 15 minutes at most.
