Re: Holy $I-IIT, The cpu missed a fg..

High winds did cause some missed field goals last year so it may be possible on the higher difficulty levels. The best way to get them to miss is to change the difficulty to JV during CPU FG attempts, set the FG accuracy to 0 and set the FG length to 95%. They still make 90% of their kicks from 45 yards out but will miss left or right. Super accurate CPU kickers

Wow...I've played almost 3 complete seasons now and haven't seen a missed one yet. Not counting the ones I kicked of course LOL!

Re: Holy $I-IIT, The cpu missed a fg..

I am in the 8th season of Dynasty and the only FGs I have seen the CPU miss are when they fall short, I think I have seen 3 or 4. One came after I bumped the CPU FG length slider down to 0 just to see if it would work. I have still yet to see the CPU miss wide left or right.

It is amazing this made it past testing.

I think some of the other sliders may be messed up as well. If the FG ACC slider doesn't do anything, how are we sure the other sliders work. Crank up the AI DEF AWR to 99 and they act really stupid. Break block above 70 for the Comp brings bad results too.

Today the CPU missed a PAT off the upright in 32 mph winds.

I was playing against Florida State one game, and their kicker missed two 40-45 yard FGs.

Other than that, I can't remember any missed CPU FGs under 50 yards...

Of all the things they could have changed or tweaked in this game, and they do the kicking mechanism. I don't recall anyone complaining about the kicking game before. I'll never understand how they make their design decisions.

And yeah, the QC team was cleary inspired by the fine work done over at 2K over the last year or two.
