The kicking engine is completely broken and you have to do something to add a challenge and make it more realistic from a results perspective.

Why would I want to lower the sliders when the CPU NEVER MISSES!! That's the problem. When the ball is in the middle of the hashes, all the user has to do is pull back on the stick and straight forward. Its way too simple and easy. There is no accuracy issue to deal with. The timing system was way better. Its too easy for both sides and its completely flawed.

Real NCAA kickers only make around 55% of kicks beyond 40 yards yet on any level on current gen, the CPU kicker will NEVER miss a kick left or right unless there are 30+ mph wins. Maybe we should show them the tape of Alabama and Arkansas earlier this year where they were shanking 30 yarders and extra points because it won't happen in NCAA '07. The kicking system in '07 is beyond awful and unrealistic. I love this game but EA should be ashamed of itself for releasing such a flawed part of the game which is huge to college football. They spent plenty of time implementing a blocked kicking camera, kick return reverses, kick return camera (which is dislike by many), onside kick camera and then put in this absolute garbage kicking system based on the right analog stick where the CPU never misses and the user has to be asleep to miss a kick between the hashes. Completely unacceptable imo. That's why they either need to go back to the timing system or add a drift to increase user error ALONG with having the CPU miss field goals again.

Even though NCAA 07 is better for the PS2 then 360, I like it. I believe the only reason it was so poor for the 360 is because EA was just messing around with it in a way. Since they see this year that the game was a success, theyll implement everything in PS2's version and add a lot more for NCAA 08, which im looking forward to.
