Calvin Johnson would be nice to see on it. I liked the Larry Fitzgerald cover a couple years back.

Come now. You know that besides the Desmond Howard cover NCAA doesn't match it cover athlete with its prime feature. That'd be Madden. I would love to see a RB on the cover. Last one was Ricky Williams wasn't it?

I was wondering this myself. Why don't they just save the money and take some aerial photo of one of the big stadiums on gameday.

Because it wouldnt' sell as well. Sure, hard-core fans would love to see a team shot or a stadium or something iconic about college ball, but a lot of the general public is going to buy a game with someone they recognize on the front, not a boring stadium shot.
