Tim Couch played for Kentucky and he was up for the Heisman.
Couch had some decent receivers when he was there. Woodson has nothing in terms of receivers. Little is good though out of the backfield.

Colt Brennan is a system QB, he'll have the best stats but he isn't better than Brohm or Henne at the end of the day.

Colt McCoy is massively overrated as well, he isn't a top 10 QB. Then later on we have total crap QBs like Brandon Cox and Juice Williams on this list. Rudy Carpenter is consistently overrated and Brian Johnson is coming off of an injury, hard to put him up there. This list can best be described as a colossal over reaction to some decent seasons and potential. Hell looking at this list I am shocked Jimmy Clausen isn't on it.

I think it has more to do with hype coming off of last season than it being a down year for QB does.

This also seems do be a really down year, not many on that list have future NFL success awaiting them.

What does having future NFL success have to do with being a good college QB?

It has a lot to deal with talent, but no one on that list is truly a great College QB barring some tremendous season. There are some good players on that list, but no one who is truly great right now. I wouldn't be shocked to see someone not on that list have a better season.

Truthfully looking at that list, I would personally say Pat White is the best college QB on the list.

Re: Lindy's Top QB's

QB's on good teams are often overrated/overhyped because of their teams success. Tebow in the top ten is obviously based on potential. Even the magazine says he's a better Heisman candidate than a QB at this point.

List isn't too bad. I'd personally drop Tebow down a little and swap McCoy and Henne. But, all in all in looks pretty good.
