Those ratings can't be right. BYU has a 10 game winning streak, is ranked 25 the new sporting news poll and has a 69 overall rating? That's the lowest of all the teams along with Idaho! If this is true EA what a joke!

Your team's rating isn't what you thought it'd be. You'll now have to murder someone. Preferably with fire.

Re: GameSpot Preview Video (June 9)

60fps makes a HUGE difference. I also think the player models look much improved, and I am really digging how the camera zooms in on the players after a play (without it being a canned cut scene).

If the control is as tight and responsive as EA is claiming, then this could be a cornerstone in the NCAA series!

BTW, anyone notice the "(A Button) National Spotlight" on the ESPNEWS screen? Can't wait to find out what that is. Weekly highlight show possibly?

Re: GameSpot Preview Video (June 9)

i see lots of improvement. just the oline play is awesome. i watched the five videos on ign and there was one play were the left end jumped and the rt drove him in the ground and the right guard lost containment on the dt and ran him down and dove into his side as the qb was rolling and the qb got the pass off. awesome. don't know how you guys can't see that. the fsu linebacker playing the te one on one was great and the second level blocking looked perfect. saw some really unaccurate passes and it looked like the stick is alive again and there is good control of the players which was the biggest problem last year. as far as ai and schemes we cant tell that on varsity but gameplay looks much improved from the junk last year. i think you guys must just be looking at graphics because the players are interacting much better.

How come Notre Dame's ratings aren't in the team post?

I'm a big dynasty guy. From all these changes it looks like playing a dynasty will be much more fun this year. The gameplay has nowhere to go but up anyways.

I saw those things, too. They looked smooth, not robotic at all.
