It may have just been madden but EA did have late hits in the game in the early to mid 90's. They were a joke and happened way too much.

I hated when I got a big stop and then accidently bumped into somebody and got a late hit, lol. Kinda like that excessive celebration that would trigger a couple of years ago where you'd make a big play and then the computer would have a guy act a fool and get a penalty.

It was cool to let out some frustration with a late hit every once in a while.

One little thing I find a bit hillarious is the players on the sideline. I have seen countless times a massive 350 pound man wearing a jersey # like 4 or a skill position # and it just looks awkward. Nice to see it's still there, although 84 is still a possibility for a DE.

I don't understand this whole thing about having to remove things to get a game to run at 60 FPS. I've seen a lot more detailed games run at 60 FPS.
