New NCAA Videos

Very un-EA for them to show the weaknesses of last years game....hmm. I like the new found confidence of the NCAA and madden teams.

EA's site is playing the videos super choppy. I wish there was a way to download them.

Two things to point out about what you can see in Mad-sci's clip:
1) the obvious tightness of the player control - no more really silly looking wide looping turns or ice-skating effect. THAT part, the inverse kinematics we have read and heard about - which was 'borrowed' and adapated from FIFA is nice and the video does a much better job of showing the affect than I can describe in words.

2) the WR on that play COULD have prevented the INT with some really good user skills - WR manual catches will be the difference a lot of times between a pick and a catch. The DBs seemed to be very adept at picking off overthrown balls, and there were some case that even manual catching skills couldn't make up for really bad decisions. An example is out of Cover-2 - lazy or bad idea throws to the flats won't get knocked down or caught, they will go back for 6 a lot more often than previously.

I think last year's weakness are obvious at this point. I'll be impressed when they expose weaknesses before folks spend their money on a game.

Can I get some help please? After I click the link, should I go to the Videos link with the Folrida #5 picture? What date is on the videos you all are looking at? Or am I in the wrong place?

Yes. The date of the vids is June 13th.
