I forgot about the 60 fps. Muy importante! Unlike previous years, it actually looks like there are an abundance of things to look forward to this year.

2 - My first next-gen NCAA game(not really an improvment on the game, but it is certainly something I am looking forward to)

4 - CPU AI(it seems like the DB AI has been a focus area which is a good thing)

The Branching Animations are something I'm not totally clear on, I haven't been keeping up with all of the details this year, can someone explain the branching animations briefly?

I think automotion will be one of the biggest improvements. This has been sorely needed in every football game. Motion is a part of the play call, not some random user driven hot route after the fact. I think this will really be a good thing. Recruiting and the deep ball being toned down are also nice things. Rombic also said they he didn't see many fumbles on the XBox version on community day so that's another fix from last year.

I'm still waiting to see how jump the snap and the kicking game are. If I had to do a Top 5 (PS2) this would be it:

1. Automotion
2. Gang tackling
3. Recruiting
4. Defensive Smart Routes
5. QB Playmaker

I would have the same list as you, rudyjuly, except I'd replace QB Playmaker with Supersim. The playmaker will be cool but I've been waiting for something like Supersim for a while.
