Re: New videos at gametrailers.com

The game looked like watching it on TV. It looked very smooth and good. The pot belly on that DT was great too. Current gen DTs look like LBs for the most part. The only thing that bothers me when I watch next gen videos is the speed of the game, particularly in the open field. It just seems like the players move too slow and it takes too long to get upfield.

So we can use the same number twice (once on O another on D)!
Maybe this feature has been in next gen, this will be my 1st year making the switch... It definitely wasn't the case on CG.
I certainly hope so, but I do remember that you could have the same numbers on last gen if EA set the rosters like that. Once you edited the numbers, you couldn't use it twice anymore.

Its a hassle when the team you play with likes to use the same number for players on Offense and Defense

Is there any videos of a kicker MISSING a fg? I don't understand why the AI making 100% of its fg's doesn't get more attention or flack from the community.

Me either. Its like people forget how bad the kicking engine was last year. The guys from NCAA Strategies did ask the producers about it and they wouldn't really comment on it which is scary. They WERE aware that the cpu never missed kicks and of all the complaints but the fact they didn't talk about how they corrected these issues (at least on current gen) is disappointing.

The right analog system simply doesn't work well for the user (too easy) although I have no clue why the cpu had to be so broken. Without adding a drift to the accuracy arrow, every kick in the middle of the field was automatic for the user. The old timing system was harder and you could see slices and hooks based on where you missed on the meter. I wish they would just admit it was the better system and go back to it.

Yep, it looks excellent. The 60 FPS and proper collision detection really stand out. Not to mention all of the other improvements that were made to player interactions. Can't wait.
