Anyone notice the DT turned backwards on one of those plays? WTF was that?

THAT is exactly what I saw also. It got very old last year, very quickly.

also.......no footprints in snow? ............no lines on the snowy field? I know it said "heavy snow" but itcan't be snowing that much that the snow instantly fills in the footprints left by players. I lived in MI most of my life and saw a LOT of snow, but never to that extent.

Maybe snowblowers will be available on the marketplace for us to buy so we can see the field in such a fierce blizzard.

Wow. I don't even know what to say about that.

How did that artwork ever get approved? Who at EA sat in a conference room & said "yes, that looks very good for snow effect, you get a raise"?

That isn't snow, that is a straight up Ice Hockey rink. Maybe the NHL & NCAA development teams got crossed up & we'll see grass rinks in NHL'08.

In my entire 29 years of living in Michigan I have never in my entire life witnessed a field covered in a veritable sheet of white icey substance.

Snow has depth to it. It moves when you run it it. It can cover your shoes, you are not constantly standing on it like a sheet of ice.

Seeing that make me want to bust out my shanty, grab a 12 pack of beer & go ice fishing. Gah.

EA definitely seems like they're on the 2 steps forward, one step back program.

I can overlook the "botched snow"(can't believe I used that phrase) this year because the actual gameplay looks outstanding and dynasty mode seems to be moving in the right direction.

The issue with the snow is that it has not depth. Which makes the invisble field lines: out of bounds, sidelines etc less believable and cosmetically attractive. Plus you dont get the footprints in the snow other things that would go along with thick snowfall on the field.
