When someone pays with Cash, Check, Debit Card, or personal credit card, the store cannot force them to take the refund back as store credit when the consumer is either cancelling a pre-order of an item or returning an item unused.

Oh I didn't understand they forced him to use it as in-store credit. From looking at his post I just thought they said they'd allow him to. If they forced him to and wouldn't give him back the credit on his debit account then heck yeah I'd say that's illegal!

I didn't worry about it. I just got the game through them. I am sure it was a saying to get me to stick with their business.

You're right, but the store would prefer the customer took store credit. I'm sure they just said "We'll refund it in store credit", he said "Sure", and all were happy. If he would have said "No, I'd like a refund on my debit card", then they would be obligated to give it to him.

passing on the free shipping. was in wallyworld today and they have the NCAA poster at the entrance. I'll do the same as last year and pick it up at 12:01 am on the 17th.
