I do believe that website that posted this but how do they know for sure if they haven't received their PS3 copies yet?

Maybe EA and 2K simply confirmed the specs without giving them copies?

the show runs at 30 fps, that's why it looks awful on 1080p. it looks awesome on 720p, but as much as sony boasted about 1080p, it'll be a couple of years before we see this fully optimized.

Well you know what, its fine, I am not about to go back and trade my PS3 in for a 360...I wanted one console and I am sticking with it. So if my sports games run in 30fps, so be it...

They have PS3 copies for APF and EA confirmed it in their response for the article.

show = 60fps on the ps3. that is why it is so smooth. Looks beautiful on my tv in 1080p (and smooth as ever).

***Edit, I mistakenly quoted the wrong post. But basically this post is in general to those feeling that EA is just pure lazy***

Don't just hold EA Sports accountable and then give 2K Sports a free pass. The problem lies in Sony's hardware. It's taking longer for developers to harness it's more complicated architecture. Down the road I'm sure all multi-console games will be running the same.

However, right now the fact is the football games by EA Sports AND 2K Sports are running at 60 FPS on the 360 and 30 FPS on the PS3. This isn't meant to be a console war type post, it's pure fact.

What I'm trying to get at is quit bitching about EA being lazy, yet not even acknowledge the fact the same thing holds true for 2K Sports.

Re: 60 FPS is 360 only... Not PS3

Or, like many have said, it very well could be a Sony problem - not a developer one. Who knows how difficult it is to program 60 FPS on PS3 hardware? I sure don't, so I don't know who to hold accountable. It's either EA and 2K, Sony, or a combination of them.

If the problem is Sony's hardware, as you say, then neither EA nor 2K are being lazy.
