Can someone tell me if they fixed this in 08?

I hadn't heard that they are eliminating cut scenes. If this is true, and everything is going to be handled real time, I like it.

It sure sounds like the next gen version will be much improved this year. I can't wait.

The game still zooms in on the players at certain parts of the game, so I guess you can call it a realtime cutscene. In the gameplay vids, at times, you'll also see a zoomed out view of the field behind the playcall screen. This is where you will notice it. You'll see players trotting back to the huddle from wherever they were when the play ended. There was a tackle made where both players heads ended up at each others feet, and when the camera zoomed in, they where getting up from the same position. Very nice. In the past, one of the players would've warped around on his back to where both players were in the same direction, then they would've gotten up.

Well if you're playing for realism, then yes. If you're playing for fun and a W, no. Seems like EA is giving the gamer an option.

An unrealistic option. Why have improved DB AI then? EA is giving you the option of throwing a bomb for a game winning 80 yard TD.

But then you wouldn't have the option of playing with realistic DB AI.

And if you did, then I wouldn't care what other options there were for DBs.
