My opinion, there are only 12 games a year and college football is the best thing that there is, let the games be decided on the field, not by some weird clock rules.
there is a need to shorten the games. any time I can be laying on my sofa on a saturday afternoon and fall asleep in the 1st quarter and wake up and it's just the beginning of the 3rd, the game is too long...lol.

Re: New Clock Rules

I like that they are thinking about changing to the NFL 40 second clock in 2008. I can't copy and paste from the document but it's under 3-4-2-a. Basiscally means that when a play is completed the 40 second clock will start, like th eNFL. The 25-second clock would be in effect for plays like penalties and timeouts and such. This would allow more consistancy as sometimes the 25 second play clock doesn't start for 10-15 seconds after the play is over - and sometimes it starts almost immediately.
