I know, I know. I was adviced by helpful members from this forum on not to buy roster from eBay, and I just totally gave in to temptation. But at least I now have a memory card so I can share my files with my friends.

Good to know, because I cannot stand beginning the second year of dynasty to have some players to be referred to by names and some by numbers.

holbert, what is the workaround that you are speaking of?

is it the one where you change the naem of the roster file to your own, or is it the one where you save the profile to your HD and run the game with that roster file and that profile?

i definitely dont like the second option as i want to use my profile..and wouldn that mean u couldnt get on live without using ur profile? well i guess you could just do a dynasty on one profile and play online with the other..but what about gamerscore points..ughh this whole fiasco is just pissing me off

Yeah, the rules in America regarding income period are very weird. Thanks for the clarification, that seems to make sense.

I guess I understand EA not wanting other people to profit off of their game that they developed, and maybe it's even an issue with the NCAA. I just think it sucks. Been a long time since I had to look up player's names on the internet to see who they are..

The work around is totally different than that. It involves running the file through the Xplorer software and somehow removing the security. Not something just anyone can do.

So... no one has mentioned ANYTHING about the PS3 here...

Is this still going to be the same case? B/c it's very easy to transfer and share files with the PS3. There is nothing in the system firmware that restricts access to other's files.
