With the recent findings of a few folks on the net, the future of roster sharing is no doubt at risk. Thankfully, with the help of the hacker community, we've found a way to be able to share NCAA rosters on the Xbox 360 this year...but what about next year? Or the year after that?

For those who aren't aware of what I'm talking about, 5-wg.com has a story up that can be found here:

So what do we think? I think a great first question would be, "Who is responsible?" Is it EA? Is it Microsoft? Is it the NCAA? And why?

As I've said a hundred times before, if you aren't checking out 5wg.com, you're really missing out. Shawn and Mark and the fellas do one hell of a job over there. Nice job fellas. I really feel this is Microsoft's doing because I don't think EA would do it to the community over the fear of a backlash.

This isn't EA's fault, this product loses a massive consumer base if no rosters can be obtained. It's clearly the fault of MS, and if it turns out that rosters cannot be "traded" then EA will be pissed off at MS to say the least.

has to be M$.. b/c you are not hearing any of this bs for ps2/ps3 rosters... has M$ writen all over it..

IMO all b/c of these gamerscore whores.. booo to them!!

You know as much as I love the gamerscore and the achievements, I'd rather have Fairdale, DKrause, and the other roster maker's rosters over acheivements anyday.

You got that right. I really hope theres something done about this. Theres no harm done in us sharing the rosters throughout the community.
