o, well the ps3 should convert it to 1080i i think?? not sure about that...i thought most tv's supported 720p...didn't realize that's where you were going with it...sorry.

no you wont because PS3 does not upscale games to 1080i and you'll be stuck at 480p

The PS3 does upscale, and has since the update a few months back.

That's not true. It upscales PS2 games and DVDs but not games.

Sony announced several months ago that the bulk of the games for their console will be 720p.
