Canceling pre-orders at GameStop

I pre ordered NCAA 08 and put down 30 bucks i got from trade ins on it a couple weeks ago. Is it possible to cancel my pre order and get my money back in case I find the game early? I have no idea if they let you do this or not

They'll only give you store credit back, since you didn't put cash/credit down for the pre-order.

i had $5 down on a game once (not from trade in but money i put down) and they let me get it back...i assume because it was my cash, not store credit

Yes but as stated, since it was in trade, you will only get the 30 in store credit to use that day. Or if you prefer, it can be put on a card and used whenever you want.

they have to give you money or store credit or whatever because you have paid for something that you haven't received yet and as long as they dont have it then you can get ur money back whenever you want

You could always just wait two more days and not deal with the hassle...
