This is one of those instances where size doesn't matter. I'm on a 19" LCD computer monitor, and I can see the sides just fine. I think it may have more to do with whether or not you have a wide screen. I could be wrong.

When youre on defense, be one of the linebackers and try to cover one of the backs going out into the flat. They disappear right off the screen. I play on a 100 inch HD projector....its not about widescreen I dont think. Its about the camera being set just slightly too close.

Regardless, there is no defense for less options being better than more options. Every year multiple people complain/wish/moan for more camera options. I'm not the only one. :-)

If by "multiple people" you mean about 10 of you, you're absolutely right.

This thread is a waste of time for debating further. I just threw my 2 cents in there to agree with the thread title and express some disappointment in the lack of cameras. If you think not seeing recievers and backs off side of the screen is fine, then I can't change your mind. Again, be an outside LB and try to cover the back in the flat....good luck.

But if you must, you can read past threads where the camera issue has been debated. I am not the only one:

Someone please help how do you change camera view?

Why can't we see camera angles like these?

Camera views...

question for ppl that complain about the camera

I agree. On the PS2 I used the Classic camera as opposed to the NCAA camera since it was zoomed out a bit more. The camera angle on the 360 is more like the NCAA cam and I wish it was zoomed out a bit more as well. Maybe we'll get used to it but it would be nice to have more options.

Re: Hard time seeing routes at the side of my screen

It's all about a person's personal preference. Some people like to be close up to the action, some like to be a little further away. Some people like to control linebackers and linemen, while other people like to control cornerbacks. The problem is that EA decided to shut down some of these peoples options when playing the game, and this will cause problems with some. Some will be 100% cool with it, others will hate it. I dont know much about developing games, maybe they could only run at 60 fps on one camera angle so thats all they put in. Maybe not. Dont know. But it is a problem for a large number of people.
