Anyhow, I started a new campus legend last night. I played one game then remembered... I have to edit the rosters first. I edited the rosters and restarted my campus legend the following morning.

I won the high school championship on difficulty: heisman. Just as I go to select the school I am going to (oregonstate, obviously) the game said something like, "your disc is dirty!" I was thinkin, "NOOOOO!!!" lol... I didn't save anything either. Looks like I have to again restart.

BTW, I called 1800-4-myxbox and the guy told me how to fix the issue.

1) DO NOT PLUG THE XBOX INTO A SURGE PROTECTOR!! Plug it into the wall instead.

2) DO NOT USE AN INTERCOOLER.. I was thinking... duh. lol

3) Remove the xbox hard drive and make sure the time and date is correct. This will keep your xbox getting updates needed to work correctly

4) Put the hard drive back in and go to the place to Format the hard drive and enter in this button sequence. 'X' 'X' 'LB' 'RB' 'X' 'X' A screen should come up and say, 'YES.' This will reset the cache on the xbox 360. Do this about every day. It's the same as clearing history and what not on your cpu the guy said...

Well, I hope if you run into the same issue I do this helps...

One thing to remember about clearing your cache: it'll clear all patches and updates for your games.

Re: Clearing 360 Cache

I tested it and I don't think it does anything, if it does, it's not noticeable. But I didn't even realize there was a pause to begin with, so maybe I'm just not noticing the change and it has got better.

Re: Clearing 360 Cache

The pauses in the game improved (although still noticeable) when I relocated my 360. I moved it out of the cabinet to improve airflow (heat slows processing). I also moved it from a vertical position to a hoizontal position. I noticed the difference immediately. Hope this helps.

Go to the system blade and then select memory.

Press Y on the HD symbol and then press X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X. Once you do this a messsage will appear saying: Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?

Ouch! That would lead to hours and hours of redownloading stuff then, I think I'll pass.
