ESPN Integration - Nicely done...

I'll give credit where it is due.

The ESPN integration is top notch. The video viewer, article reader and audio player really allow me to be updated in the sports world as I sit and delve deep into my dynasty.

The way you can just finish a game, get kicked out to the main menu and then have a news update from ESPN is such cool feature... much better than hearing fight songs all day.

I actually don't mind that they don't have ESPN in game so much anymore because they're actually utilizing the license.

Now if only EA can work on in-game presentation.... maybe come up with some fictional reporters, go back to EASN (remember that?)... anything to spice up presentation. They actually have the gameplay in a solid enough position that they can focus on this aspect of the game now.

I agree. The ESPN radio playing during the menus has proven me wrong about the concept of how the implement the brand. I'm not big on the videos, but the radio is very nicely done.

Sorry..I can't agree...that stuff has nothing to do with the game..If I want all that stuff I'll see it or watch on ESPN on TV or DVR...

ESPN Integration is needed in gameplay with stat overlay's and graphics and other things that would add to the pageantry of the game...Many times its like this game is hallow as you wait for the next play. The presentation continues to be horrendous and non-existant.

The current ESPN integration IMO is useless...I don't turn my game on to watch ESPN...I turn my game on to play the game.

We should be seeing slick stat overlays based on player performance...ongoing running commentary...more team based after play animations as opposed to one player being highlighted...We need not look any further than many of the 2K games for PRESENTATION...If its one thing those games do fairly well its PRESENTATION. How about something at the beginning of the game such as teams coming outta a tunnell and maybe a highlight of the key performers??...I mean they really aren't doing a thing presentation wise with EA games...They are hollow in that department

I tend to agree with you on this issue. I want the ESPN stuff to cover MY games and the stuff from MY franchise. I can watch SportsCenter for that kind of thing on the ESPN News channel, or ESPN radio.

Pre-game presentation, In-game presentation, half-time presentation, and post game stuff is still in the stone-age with EA's use of the ESPN license, IMHO.

yah I agree, ncaa's presentation is so bad, it takes alot away from the actual gameplay
