Does anyone know why the headset I used on my PS2 won't work on the PS3? I think it is crap how me are nickle and dimed to death on small purchases such as a headset, second controller, and hdmi cable when most of us paid $600 for the PS3. Any information would be helpful. I certainly don't want to go spend $50 on a Bluetooth headset if I don't have to.

It sucks. There is no reason why they couldn't make the headset compatible.
