does the 360 version (and ps3) have the capacity to have patches that fix some of the bugs (particularly the depth chart bug)?

I would have to think so, they've patched other games through updates and such.

Yeah patches can happen for sure.

Does anyone remember if they ever updated/patched the 07 version?

If they did it before, that would provide better odds for EA to do an update for 08.

It's not called a patch, it's called an update

And EA will definitely release an update for the alternate uniforms, the only question is will it contain other stuff like this. I doubt it.
