Changing the pace?

I'm playing on AA right now with 7 minute quarters, but it seems that the entire time the game is being played in hurry up offense. Even if I don't press A to hurry the team to the line, they practically run up there like time is ticking away at the end of the game. When playing on defense, the CPU almost always snaps the ball half a second after the formation is set. It gives absolutely zero time to make any adjustments on D because I have to worry about the CPU snapping the ball basically instantly every single play. This also brings up another issue which involves the jumping the snap feature. Because they hike the ball in one second or less each time, I guess the snap count every single play almost....since it's always one.

So my question is this:

Is there a way to slow the pace down a bit so the entire game doesn't feel like we're playing the 2-minute drill in the NFL? Do I have some "fast play" feature on that I'm not aware of.

*I'm loving the game thus far besides this problem*
