This is in regards to the 360 version and PS3.

Anyone got one yet? I've played about 25 games and have not had a single blocked kick (me or the CPU). Last year's game was a little excessive with the blocked kicks but it seems like they've scaled it back completely to none like in current gen versions prior to 07 (I haven't played current gen since 06 so don't know if it's changed since then).

I've had one PAT blocked and numerous more close calls.

I've had some close calls too but I got that a lot in past gen versions too. I liked how in 07 for the 360 you actually felt like you had a chance to block every kick (and sometimes it was a little too over the top and you would lol). This year it feels like there's no chance for me to block anything.

My first game I ever played, I got the blocked FG achievement. The funny thing is I took a bite of my sandwich while the CPU was kickin it and the computer blocked the kick for me.

I've blocked one FG. Just took a player off the end and took hin straight up the middle and it opened up and I got to it. Hasn't happened since.

Never got a blocked FG, but I have blocked an Extra point. Actually, in my only online game (that was cut due to tremendous lag) my friend and I both blocked each other's XP's. Never done it versus the AI though.

Are any of you guys previous players of 07 on the 360 too, and if so do you agree that they toned the kick blocking down way too much? I can see it being only once in awhile for the pros but this is college, blocking kicks is huge.

Being a Gators fan I can attest to this. If any of you saw the game against South Carolina last year where Jarvis Moss blocked an extra point and then blocked what would have been the game winning FG when the Gators were up by 1. I was ecstatic to say the least. I want this type of feeling when I'm playing NCAA 08. If I'm up by 1 and the CPU is going for a last second FG I want to know that I have a fighting chance to block that kick.

I have blocked an extra point,have also been REAL close several other times,but allbe damn if I can block a punt.
