Whats up with the injuries?

Anyone notice how there is alot of injuries happening every game? In my dynasty I've had three starters have 5 weeks or longer injuries.....and alot of little injuries happen during the games. Any way to tone this down?

Re: Whats up with the injuries?

I had a few injuries in week one but they werent too bad, one CB for 4 weeks and the rest were a quarter or less. Maybe its the sub in/sub out settings, maybe altering those and players will be getting more rest and be less inclined to become injured.

Re: Whats up with the injuries?

I thought it was a pretty realistic amount after my first dynasty year. A lot of small injuries and one or 2 big ones.

I think the totals seems so high because
1) we are not used to it
2) it means we cannot run the same TB 30+ times a game
3) The injuries or thread of injury forces us to use more players which is good
4) a down side is we only have 70 players max

Re: Whats up with the injuries?

Maybe it's me but I rarely get any injuries. I have had a guy out for 4 weeks max. Mostly guys get hurt in the game but come back later. I did have a back which was most of my offense. He kept getting hurt for about a quarter a game but I had the ball going to him about 50% of the time. Also, I have set my subs at 70% and back in at 90%.

Agreed. It's nice to see depth means something in an EA game for once.

I'm noticing this on defense mostly. When I have the CPU put up a 10-15 play drive on me, I'm subbing like a mad man.
