Just started a dynasty

I'm slow with these things and haven't been following so I just started up a Fresno St. dynasty and I'm not really sure how I should be handling things.

I set up my 35 guys on my recruiting board (I have 25 scholies) and have been calling them and arranging visits. I'm getting some good results on trying to persuade but I'm wondering if I keep going back and finding pitches every week or when I've found a good one do I just leave them be? I'm too use to College Hoops where you make contact with them every week and keep them interested in you, does NCAA work like that now?

Thanks for any tips anyone can give me.

Every recruit has two "Very High" pitches and one "Most" pitch. Once you find these, you don't really need to find what their position in the other pitches are. Simply keep hitting those three with "hard sell" to get their interest in your school to go up. Remember, when you hard sell, it doesn't register until it says "Pitch Complete." Do not simply wait for the football face to have a full smile.

Also, I wouldn't recommend filling up the entire recruiting board. 10 hours is too little time for 35 players. I usually put 17-20 of the most needed recruits on the board.

There are several recruiting threads here. Just use the search feature. Good luck. I'll just say focus on about 20-25 guys at most.

They posted a pretty informative blog on EA's official site about recruiting. You can find it here:

I disagree about targeting only 20-25...I keep my board full through in-season recruiting because as a 1 or 2 star program, you need to make sure and sign 25 guys every year. You don't want to have 11 three or four star recruits and not have anyone interested for the off season recruiting. Walk-ons will kill you. But if you are playing with a top team, then only target the best guys.

If you don't fill up your board the CPU will do it for you assuming you have the CPU Assistance turned on...The CPU usually fills it up with players that have high interest in your team but are generally 1-3 stars...I have yet to see the CPU pull in a prize recruit for me but I assume it much be easier if you're a Michigan/USC etc

I disagree also with only having 25 guys on your board. I fill it up, but I usually only get to my top 15 each week. I notice that by just having them on your board increases their interest level in you.

Can fill the board up and offer everyone a scolarship. The 25 is just for signed recruits, you can offer all 35.

Players will stick around the bottom of your board all year too even without being called if you offer them.
Also a Red recruit if offered a scholarship will become green after a few weeks even if hnever called as long as you dont lose every game by a hundred.
