Could I get some suggestions on improving my deep passing game?

Guys, I just started my dynasty last night. I am curious if I could get some pointers on throwing deep in this game. Is there some sort of technique to improving my deep passing i.e? Always stepping up in the pocket or using the left joystick and pushing it in a certain direction. Any assistance is appreciated in advance. Thanks

Thank you for pointing that out. I changed my forum skin to a black skin and yes, I was posting in white. I changed it back now so hopefully people will now be able to read my posts. LOL

Stepping up/into throws and tapping the button makes a huge difference. Also, deep posts and corners can work well in the right coverage, but make sure you keep a back or 2 in to protect.

Erroneous!
I wish I actually felt like posting my vids but I have plenty of clips of me throwing the deep pass.
I have alot of success with the corner route, next is the post pattern.
Every now and then I throw a straight fly pattern.

The thing is, you have to set up the deep pass with the run.
And when you throw the deep pass you HAVE to step into the throw and make sure you dont throw a bullet.

I would love to be proven wrong, i mean i like to run the ball, and set up playaction but i can get a speed receiver in the slot man on man, and never get any seperation, i love this game, but the deep ball is too well covered IMO this is a direct change from the last two years being deep ball fests, I can tolerate it but i never even get the deep ball open let alone try and throw it, i can throw the corner, successfully sometime, but i mean that streak that changes games, that is only open once or twice a season, and you have to be lucky to get the receiver not to drop it when it is there. but I am open to any suggestions to get the vertical passing game open, is it sliders or playcalling????

Well if you have a really fast reciever from around 96-99, and a quarterback with high throwing power, you can throw it. I had a corner who was playing both ways for me. Drop back, wait until you get one on one coverage, and lob and lead him towards the end zone.
