I don't know that you would be in the "Exteme" minority, but I have to admit that I need some of the "fluff" to enjoy the game long term. For me, the immersion factor is big......but not everything. Even fantastic presentation and features have limits if the gameplay is off....ASB05 is one good example.

Coach Mode! It's the only reason for me to drop 60 bucks on this game at this stage in my gaming life.

Gameplay needs some tweaks, sure... but OMG the presentation is complete ****. Definitely work on that.

The one aspect of gameplay I really don't like besides the obvious INTs is the way WRs play in this game. The DBs react to a ball half the time like they should, but the WRs don't even care about getting position or anything like that, which is why I think half the time you see picks on hooks. The WR will just stand there while the DB breaks on the ball. For a slant to work for me the guy has to be practically wide open, not just have the inside or anything, but not have a guy within a couple of yards. I think this plays a big role in the INTs.

I think online play, presentation, and gameplay are all important.

I wish they would encorporate more ESPN stuff to the game. They have the license. It would be cool if they put "College Gameday" in franchise mode. They could also incorporate Lou Holtz somehow, purely for an entertainment factor.

I wish they had a pre-game analysis and a half-time breakdown. I hate to keep brining up NFL2k but their presentation was amazing.
