NCAA 08 Feed Back Poll #1 Whats the most important area for NCAA09

Well here we go poll number one of many to come make sure you vote and post any comments you like on why you voted the way you did.

Question: What do you think should be the main focus of NCAA 09?

Your choices are Game play, Online, and Presentation. I know its a hard question to answer I wish you could vote for all three and of course EA knows that all three of those areas are major focuses every year but if you had to choose one which one would it be?

I feel they have the gameplay down pretty good now, so I'd like them to focus on presentation next year to get the real feel of the college game.

I never thought I'd say this, but the presentation was so awful this year I'd take the exact same game, just with more presentation.

Although I wouldn't mind them toning down the picks a little

And according to your other thread it appears I should list some specifics.

1) ESPN...I know its a different company and y'alls like to market EA as much as you can, but seriously, I know which company made my game. Putting an ESPN logo on the game scoreboard sure won't hurt. And hell, I'd love to see something where the GOTW is on ESPN, the national games are on ESPN2, and the regional games are on ESPNU or something. The ESPN.com integration was a start. Now if it goes to the next level, thats awesome.

2) Menus. Some parts of the menus are actually quite good (the fact that you can press a button to get a more detailed version of a story is awesome), but some of them are way too slow. Like the depth charts. I started playing NCAA '07 again, and I swear I set my depth chart, made my schedule and planned my in-season recruiting in the same time it takes to set a depth chart in this game.

3) Pregame. I still wish the ol' NCAA '04 pregame was in there, with everybody walking by that big ICE machine as they went onto the field. I'd ask for team specific ones, but we'll go with one step at a time. At least show the teams on the field.

I voted presentation. but I still feel that there are some improvements that could be made in the gameplay department. More refinements than anything.

O Yeah the polls will stay open for 2 weeks then I will taley the results up and give them to RAC who will then send the results up the chain of command.

Online is not a concern for me, so it was between presentation and gameplay. Overall, my complaints with gameplay ultimately reduce to it needing some tweaks. Presentation, however - including crowd intelligence, sound, play-by-play, on-screen stat updates, color commentary, replay frequency, and overall atmosphere - needs a major overhaul.

Definitely the presentation. The online isn't too laggy, and gameplay is, well, passable. The presentation is pretty much non-existant. It's like every game is in a huge stadium full of mimes.

Gameplay. The offline cpu INTs need fixing. The deep passing game needs to open up a little with the cpu actually attempting to complete a streak. I would love enhanced presentation but the cpu passing game is my #1 concern.
