Doesn't Microsoft have to approve patches for 360 games before they are released? If so, that could be the delay.

Try throwing a deep pass and see if it actually works

Things i would check for if i had a PS3:

1) Is the frame rate better? This could be a reason only the ps3 will see a patch

2) Does the CPU throw more/any deep passes

3) can you get that med level arc on the passes easier, like in past games

4) are the DB breaking less on the passes- or at least on passing they cannot see- which is rumored to be in the madden patch too.

Things like fumbles i think are harder to tell unless you test alot. These things should be pretty easy to tell right away.

I played for just a couple of minutes. Still not sure what it does. I wonder if it's just for online connectivity since you have to go to the online section to get it.

It's not alternate uniforms. It's not a framerate fix. I threw one pass deep and it was intercepted.
