Re: How do YOU stop the pass?

Getting good pressure on the QB is still the key to stopping the pass, as it was on last gen. And it might be my imagination, but I'd say it's user-controlled pressure that is most crucial: 90% of the CPU's incompletions are on plays where I'm controlling a rusher and I've caused a disturbance. On plays where I fail to disrupt anything, it's almost 100% certain that the CPU will complete the pass.

I usually play as a LB and whenever my RB assignment motions outside I'm usually a dead duck in coverage and usually try to switch to a DL to rush the passer instead.

Compared to 07, on next gen, 08 is a whole lot different in pass coverage. It took me a long time to adjust to it.
