What's your favorite style of offense?

for me it all depends on my personell, esecially QB.

if my QB is a pocket passer i'll be a pro-style or power running team. i've used both boise state's and oklahoma's playbook.

i played a few seasons as a spread option team using oregon and oklahoma's playbook. i only used about 25% of the playbook because my passing game was quite primitive (FR QB with 80 thp and 74 tha). my bread and butter play was shotgun ace (12 personell) QB read.

i'm currently using illinois' playbook and use everything in it. my offnese is absolutely loaded at the skill positions and my OL is pretty good. my QB is a freakin stud (RS FR, 87 OVR, 82 SPD, 94 THP, 88 THA) so i can basically play whatever style i need to. spread option, air it out, line up in the I and play power football, go single back and feed my TB the rock while mixing in plenty of pass. i even go old school and run some triple out of the flexbone.

i normally use the singleback and I Form formations in a more run based offense. but i have started to like the spread offense with the QB i have now in my MTSU dynasty. luckly the MTSU playbook has a good mix of I-form, Singleback, and Shotgun formations.

in NCAA '08 with the auto-motion feature, i really enjoyed the wishbone/Flexbone formations when i did a dynasty with Air Force, i believe they also had some shotgun in their playbook in this years game as well.

It really depends on personnel. I'm more of a Dynasty guy, so I'll just stick with what the team has at the beginning my first year or so. If I have a 5-star RB interested in my program and I sign him I'll run more of an Ace-formation (singleback) offense. If I have a 5-star QB, i'll run more of a spread. On D it's always 3-4 or 3-3-5. It just doesn't feel right for me without the extra speed.

I'm Miami in my dynasty, so I use a pro-style offense. My favorite(most fun) is the triple option.

I like to spread the field out, but have an above average speed QB, so I can sometimes take advantage of some mismatches.

I like a passing game that attacks all 3 levels and a zone running scheme. That way you can cut back or bounce outside to the gap that opens up and the passing game is unstoppable if you get the ball out quickly. The formation really doesn't matter you can do it from any balanced formation (2 backs, TE, 2 WR or 3 WR, TE, HB)
