Brandon Graham...99 OVR?

I am just wondering if anyone (maybe Michigan fans) can tell me why he is rated as a 99 in the game.

I looked at his stats for the year

25 Tackles, 8.5 Sacks and 3 Forced Fumbles....

They seem pretty average to me for him being a 99 OVR in the game.

Compared to Shawn Crable (not a 99 in the game) this just seems wrong...

any insight?

I think they created him as a LB and then moved him to DE. That could be why his ratings fluctuated so much.

I could be wrong though.

No other way to explain it. EA's pretty dumb, but they're not that dumb (to rate him a 99 intentionally, I mean).

His real-life performance notwithstanding, figure dude's a five-star recruit (80-84 OVR) and then with a year of development, he could conceivably be anywhere from 80-92 as a sophomore. I think when I did my roster tweaks he was an 86.

Oh, and he's actually only an 81.

To be honest, the Michigan defense being an A+ on the game, a lot of their guys need some tweaks. The unit was a B when I got finished with them.

If you want to do something similar, you can do it relatively quickly by lowering guys' awareness ratings. That's the one attribute that effects the OVR the most.
