if you complete the pitch, then it can vary from 3 minutes to 45 minutes per pitch. make sure to complete the pitch, but don't let it go too long, because then they start getting irriated.

So if you do one pitch a week for one player...how do you schedule activities when so many unknowns? You would find out all his interests in the pitches in Week 14!

once you find a recruits top 3 pitches, you dont need the others.

i normally just focus on my top 15 or so recruits early on.

That is what I do also. Find the top 3 early.
In week 1 I talk to them and find 1 of their top 3 and thats it. ( make sure he's smiling and hang up)
In week 2 I find another, and depending on how quickly the 3rd. You usually can get away with pitching more concepts now, because if they start to get annoyed you can hard sell the pitch they liked from week 1.

Unlike StiffArm, I almost always offer schollies first week. Reason being, if I'm listed as their top school I can usually get one of two of them to sign on the dotted line first week right after the schollie offer.

Having two guys committed fore next season before ever taking the field for your first game puts you nicely ahead of the recruiting game.

I don't disagree with doing this; like I mentioned, the reason I don't offer guys the first week is because I want to see if I can get to be their #1 choice before I do so that there is a chance they commit as soon as I offer. Obviously, if you're their #1 choice out of the gate you can accomplish this right at the outset. Playing as a 1-star team, though, I don't generally have a lot of good players listing me as their #1 choice at the outset.

i disagree because every pitch you find gives +1 intrest so if you can complete every pitch it makes a very big difference, but I do love your strategy, though.
