I noticed no difference either. I picked off the CPU twice in the first 3 minutes. It's sad, but this year will be the first year that I won't hunt or even buy NCAA Football on release in many years. If impressions are predominantly good after a week, then maybe I'll pick it up.

According to RAC, the patch fixes the problem where the CPU would occassionally pick plays on defense for the user.

After seeing the wonders that a patch was able to do for CHoops 2K8, it is pretty disappointing that EA wasn't able (or simply didn't care) to do something similiar with NCAA.
