PS3: NCAA 09 60 fps ?

I highly doubt '09 will run at 30FPS. They've had 2 years now, so I FULLY expect '09 to run at 60FPS. EA will lose a lot of customers if it doesn't.

Can you notice the difference between the 360 that runs at 60 fps and the PS3? I haven't seen the 360 version. I haven't played anyone else nor do I have any friends close by that have a 360. Is there a noticeable difference?

In a word yes! There is a huge difference. When I play the 360 version as a DB I can make a break on a ball and get a few user pics. On the PS3 not so much. There are more instances that I could include but for me that is the big one because I play the FS position when I play D.

I've played both fairly extensively, and while I wouldn't call it huge, there definitely is a noticeable difference. I mostly notice it when I'm trying to make user plays on defense.

I agree... the animations are just more fluid. You can also time your moves easier.

I know if I'm a Sony exec, I'm all over EA this year to make it 60.

if they treat the PS3 like they did the 360, it will be 60fps for '09.
'07 for 360 was 30fps, and '08 was upped to 60fps.

i thought i read an an article that was posted here saying that they already had it running at 60fps for PS3?

I don't think so since no details have been announced yet. Details usually start coming once the cover boy is announced.
