so does online dynasty = online leagues?

I am wondering does "online dynasty" simply mean I get ot start a dynasty and instead of playing the computer I can have either a random online player or a friend control the other team? Or....

can a group of people, say like 5, each control a team, play out a schedule and have stat tracking for each user within an online dynasty which would effectively be like an online league?

At this point it is strictly guesses, but that is what we are hoping for. In theory, it can be even more in depth.

I just don't see EA letting us have online leagues with full stat tracking. Maybe this will surprise us though and come through.

I'm in a 12 team league in NBA 2k8, most of the people I know in real life, and it's almost impossible to get the games played within a reasonable amount of time. Then you're asking people to take teams like Duke and Alabama (War Eagle!). A 119 team dynasty would never, ever work. don't even dream.
