Re: Predict the gameplay flaw

It won't be perfect, so game is. I'll still pick it up as long as there aren't any game killing flaws. Perhaps issues is a better term?

Looking through the "old school" thread below, every version has had an "issue" This one will too.

Re: Predict the gameplay flaw

I think that it's completely legit to have this sort of discussion, as there is usually something that kills the game (if you play mostly online) within 3 or 4 months of its release. Two years ago it was the improvised naked bootleg that, via some sort of evil magic, entranced the FS or SS regardless of the situation. This year it's the goal-line O, no pocket (that's every year), and the O line's seemingly indifferent attitude towards a 3man front.
This coming year's game? I'll say that it will either continue with the lack of containment on D (d-ends are, for the most part, faster than qb's. guess nobody at EA got the memo) or some kind of over the top backlash with the o-line's confusion in '08 that gives even OklaState a line not unlike the '95 Dallas Cowboys.

Super human pass coverage skills, especially by LB's..

Re: Predict the gameplay flaw

I'm putting my money on too many passes that get tipped by a receiver and intercepted.

I have a feeling the running game is going to be extremely easy once you get the new controls down.

Re: Predict the gameplay flaw

Ha! Great thread.

This is easy. The same flaws that have plagued the game for years. No QB pocket, bad player interaction, ridiculous AI...

EA usually addresses one flaw from the prior year, so I say everything will return minus the excessive turnovers. They should be able to fix their hidden sliders.

I'd also have to go with the running game and offense in general being too easy.

BTW does anyone know if JTS will be in this year?
