Historic Teams?

Are they going to bring back the Historic and All-time teams?
I love playing with the greats from the past, it adds even more to the replay value.

It does, but to be fair their "classic teams" were basically the same team over and over with small corrections made for marquee players. To put it into perspective, in NCAA 2005, Chris Rix had the same overall rating as Charlie Ward and Chris Weinke. EA never really put much effort into these ratings, hell on the 1999 FSU team they have Anquan Boldin as a QB with 93 speed.

It looked like the put some effort into the PS 1 versions. I remember the ratings, player #s and skin colors where fairly accurate in NCAA 98-00. Not sure why they just didn't keep those for the newer generations.

My guess would be the advent of the overall rating, which I believe was first implemented in NCAA 2002 (maybe NCAA 2001 on the PS1, I don't think so though). Before they were just rated in each category with nothing in the overall, once they added that formula my guess is that they found a lot of players were highly messed up.
