I think it's kind of distracting that there's no momentum. The game definitely looks good from a graphical standpoint. The QB guess the coverage thing was nice; could've been cooler if presented better. But during the whole video I don't think I gave the OL/DL/LBs a second thought. It's much like the earlier hi-def IGN video where the game appears to be fun w/two players. Watching players zip around the field with little to no regard for anything in this video seems like it might get tiring pretty quickly. As would having people backpedal forever and still throw strikes. Seems like they're definitely going back to the "speed kills" gameplay of PS2 '04 version; just not sure if it's going to have as much substance as that game had gameplay-wise.

Yep I'm pretty hard on EA (Rightfully so) but the NCAA game is by far the best playing game right now as far as football.

I love the fact that 2 picks were thrown when the qb was running around. (Well until I start my dynasty )
For me as long as recruiting etc actually make a difference and ratings matter.

I want to see mismatches on the field actually pay off more than not.

Thats what bums me out. What is the point of playing D if you can just run backwards then throw the ball?

I like the movement of the players a lot more then the old clunky versions though..I will say that.

What will the online difficulty be? If everyone is playing on Varity or the medium setting, then running backwards will be commonplace.

It doesn't matter the difficultly as it seems to be more important to drop back 20 yds as the difficultly goes up.

As for the no momentum... I am not liking that 1 bit. This new branching animation stuff has everyone on field moving around like ants on speed. I can see the left/right/left on the stick ala 2k4 being a money move in this game.
