So who do you control the most on Defense in NCAA?

I play the position I played my whole football career, RDE! I love the pass rushing and run defense from there, I also play some MLB, but RDE is where I always play and thank god my fav team(Seminoles) always have a good RDE!

I usually run a 3-3-5 and play as the MLB so that I can stop the inside run or drop back into a middle zone where it's easy to see the field. Too hard to see the flats as an OLB

actually when you play as Louisville, you don't control anyone on defense. You just put the controller down, put your head in your hands, and wait for the agony to be over.

FS or SS. Usually whichever one is on the short side of the field, since I use a 4:3 display and cannot see the whole width of the field.

Do you change the defensive awareness based on your own QB's awareness? If not then you have not accounted for user QB awareness (frosh vs. senior, good vs. bad etc.) no matter what the defensive awareness slider is at.

Its not a big deal no matter where you play. As long as you have fun, that's all that matters. I think the word sim gets thrown around too much anyways.

I use DE, with some MLB and FS depending on the situation. If it's a passing down, I usually try tu rush the QB with a DE. If it's a running down or short yardage situation I will use mostly LB, and if it's a redzone play I sometimes go with the FS. On blitzes I will also use a lot of LB. I find this gives me a solid, low-risk defense that you can still be really aggressive with in some situations, with enough fun factor and variety.
