Some things i've observed after watching both quarters:

1. It's nice to see that not every pass is picked off ala last year but it almost seems as if more passes should have been picked by the Buckeyes (I counted 5 errant passes and 1 interception by Jenkins) and instead were simply 'stone hands' drops. I hope it just ends up being a nice balance, better to err with stone hand DB's than glue hand DB's like 08.

2. the lighting and grass texture makes the game looks worlds different and so so so so much better.

3. I (surprisingly) actually really liked the cheerleader scenes as it does ad some broadcast quality to it, I just hope they have enough variety to not make them get insane repetitive. especially loved the buckeye cheerleaders running around with the o-h-i-o flags after one score.

4. I like how the ref makes the calls from the field now instead of that ******** close up view as in past ncaa's.

5. I really love the occasional errant throw, especially when, as in this game, it results in a critical game situation (4th down in these clips)

6. the game seems more organic with the players moving around and whatnot pre-snap.

7. players seem a little less rigid and "robot-like", still not completely right but much better than 2008.

8. still no deep passes by the CPU, although as others have said there are a couple of instances where the CPU threw intermediate with nice results

9. CPU seems alot more "human-like" per my previous post, almost making me wonder if the guy on IGN was playing online vs. another IGN guy.

10. injuries still look kind of ******** with the guy just lying there and moving about like he's in a seizure.

11. I like on the right hand side how it says the result of the last play.

12. the post play continuation really goes a long way, IMO, towards doing away with the robot-type behavior (as in past ncaa's the play would end and everyone would seem to have an all knowing sense immediately and quit playing).

As has been said above, from these 2 quarters the game seems like a lot of minor and a few major things. It doesn't appear that the haters will find any big reason to hate less but those who are looking for improvements in an evolutionary way as opposed to a revolutionary way will be just fine with the game.
