The list EA has puts them second to Georgia. I can't attach files right now but if you click on my signature, I've got all of EA's current ratings along with conference where you could sort.

Utah is tied for the 5th best defensive ranking in the Mountain West in NCAA '09. San Diego St. is ranked first with an 80 ranking. If you want to complain about that fine but where do you think Utah should rank when comparing them to the entire country or their own conference?
I agree with that. And I don't think they should have the 15th best rated defense in the game. However, 96 is way, way off. I would put Utah overall around 40-50th, and in the MWC, top 2 or 3.

So that damn list that someone posted earlier was wong then.

The same crappy ratings from the Beta are still there.

Re: EA Sports: NCAA 2009 Team Ratings

Do those ratings even mean anything though gameplay wise? Is that the overall average of the individual ratings on offense and defense or just a number they come up with?

no not MUCH more accurate. About as accurate as stating they are a 92. FSU should have around an 84-86 rating on offense. They have some real depth at QB/RB and WR this year and a lot more team speed. A 79 is not accurate at all.

Neither is a 99 for their D, which is insane.

i think its more of a comparison rating to the other teams, it would have to be as Georgia didn't have any players with 99 overall and Ohio State only had 1 99 overall player(that is if the player ratings are the same as the beta)
